100

100th. PostWhen I was typing the title of this post, I could not believe that I was actually typing “100th.”  It doesn’t seem possible that I have written 100 posts for my blog.  I certainly enjoy sharing my story although time constraints have kept me from updating as regularly as I would like to lately.  When I started the blog my thought was that if I could help just one person realize that weight loss is attainable, regardless of the amount they needed to lose, then it would be worth every ounce of effort I put into it.  Hopefully someone out there has been inspired or is being inspired.

My week went well.  I was up slightly (point 6 lbs.) but I still felt like overall, things went well.  In light of inching up a tiny bit for a second week in a row, I decided that this week I would go back to counting Points Plus®.  I enjoyed Simple Start and it was valuable in the sense that it reinforced eating actual meals which is something I need to remain focused on doing but at the end of the day, I need the control that counting Points Plus® gives me.

I decided that I would still try to concentrate on eating meals rather than snacking throughout the day; I am just tracking my food intake rather than just controlling portion size.  I don’t know if any of my fellow Weight Watchers followers feel this way or not, but I imagine that I will be tracking and counting for the rest of my life, and that’s a good thing as far as I’m concerned.

I am anxious to see how this week goes and I only have two more days until I will know.  Tomorrow I will do a quick post about Halloween and how to enjoy treats without being tricked.  I hope everyone is having a great week and remember slow and steady wins the race.

    • Thanks Bobby! I have missed writing. I have been so busy and have not been prioritizing very well. Lets see if I can’t do a little bit better from here on out. Hope all is well with you!
